The met office has predicted heavy snow in Northern Ireland, Northern England and parts of Wales by Monday the 5th of February 2009 and leading into Tuesday the 6th of February 2009. It is expected that the snow will accumulate in places which may cause disruption. Care must be taken on areas with higher ground. This may lead to slips, trips or falls. From today (11th of January 2008) the Roma II treaty comes into effect.
