Achilles Tendon injury symptoms differ depending on the severity of the injury. The main symptoms of an Achilles Tendon injury are:
- Mild aching pain in the heel area that gradually worsens (especially after running)
- Sharp pain along the tendon while running
- Tenderness in the heel area first thing in the morning
- Stiffness in the lower leg
- Swelling around the tendon area
