Being a victim of crime does not mean that you are to wait at the detriment of the courts and the justice system for compensation. There are a number of different ways that you could get compensation. This Legal Request article looks at making criminal compensation claim.

crimeDo I have to be injured?

No. You could claim compensation if your property has been damaged or stolen. However a high percentage of claims we deal with involve an injury of sorts.

How can I help?

If you are considering making a claim for criminal compensation, you case could be strengthened if you could provide the following:

  • Any loss of earnings you have suffered
  • Any extra expense you have had to foot as a result of the offence, for example medical expenses or replacing your property.
