
A gas explosion has left a Crumpsall man in hospital.
The incident occurred on Tuesday with firefighters attending the explosion on Brynome Road near the North Manchester General Hospital.
Health and safety officers were quickly on the scene to identify the cause of the explosion.
Local residents were evacuated while the investigation takes place.
